Ok. Heres something I noticed when people get careless about making bases.

1. Her eyes. They look really bad and have no colour at all, it makes the base look ordanary.

2. The lines. The anatomy and lines of the base are really horrible. The lines are straight and thick, that's why the CURVE tool was created, To create nice smooth lines and with smooth lines comes better anatomy.

3. EARS! She needs ears, Most people don't add the ears because they arn't bothered to make ears for their bases, but even if you make cute simple ears, it's still better than nothing.

4. CLOTHES. The base has clothes on it, A base by definition is a set of poses and stuff so if the base is clothed it aint really a base no more, more or less it's a bald doll, not actually a base.

5. The file format is JPEG. Sometimes people forget to save bases as a PNG, Saving it as a PNG will preserve the colours and keep the quality of the base. Try dolling on it, I bet it's impossible to do a good job right.

I hope this helps people with base making :)

um actually ppl dont add ears cuz either they'll b covered by the user of the base or the hair was over the ears on the original.........just saying.........;p

Well, sometimes people make dolls who show forehead, without any fringe to cover the ears; that's what she meant.

so now ur bagging on my dolling? in my mind they dont need ears, but i dont no bout all the technical stuff about base making.;p (and no the ;p isn't meaning i'm happy, its my trademark now)
